The exhibition “Brussels, la Congolaise” at the MigratieMuseumMigration, running from September 5 to December 13, is a showcase of the Congolese presence in Brussels. It features archival photos, personal photographs, paintings, life stories, and music. This exhibition offers a vivid portrayal of this presence, whose diverse migration histories are unlike those of other communities living in Brussels. Over Foyer vzw - MigratieMuseumMigration

Foyer is a non-profit with various services in Brussels that has been building a (more) intercultural and inclusive society, where everyone is respected, for more than 55 years. The MigrationMuseumMigration is the latest project of Foyer. MMM tells the story of immigrant workers, the first arrivals at the Little Castle, expatriates, refugees, Europeans who moved freely within the EU and all the others. It also pays tribute to the many migrants who have helped shape the city. The MMM radically opts for the power of personal stories. Memories and photos are in the centre.
