Belga News Agency (Belgium) and ANSA (Italy) announce the launch of “MEDIA4COHESION,” a joint information project supported by the European Union.

MEDIA4COHESION will explain how EU Cohesion Policy works in practice and highlight its tangible impact on people’s lives across Belgium and Italy. Through news coverage, videos, live broadcasts, and targeted updates, the project will inform citizens, stakeholders, and policymakers about initiatives that foster economic, social, and territorial cohesion in the EU. The project brings together the editorial and distribution strengths of Belga and ANSA.

Patrick Lacroix, CEO Belga News Agency: “With MEDIA4COHESION, Belga and ANSA combine their strengths to bring Europe closer to citizens in Belgium and Italy. By telling concrete stories about how Cohesion Policy impacts people’s daily lives, we aim to build trust in European cooperation and inspire the next generation. We are grateful to the European Commission and DG REGIO for their support and confidence, and we are proud to contribute with ANSA to a project that promotes transparency, participation, and democracy across Europe.

Stefano De Alessandri, CEO ANSA: “Media4Cohesion is a project through which, together with Belga, we want to highlight the value of the European Cohesion Policy, showing how EU funds improve the daily lives of citizens in Belgium and Italy. This project is especially focused on young people, because the future of Europe is built on their awareness and participation. We are proud to embark on this common journey.”
